JFJ Video Project |

Background Back in 2017 Mark had the vision to create a series of short video's for children. Mark had for many years used home made video's for teaching both with children in church as part of a Sunday School class as well as professionally as a teacher. During the summer Holiday club Follow the Leader in 2017 some of Marks early video's were used as part of the teaching programme. This gave rise to thinking about a studio so that filming could be done over several days if not weeks. So during 2018 and into 2019 building work began to create such a space. The first video's produced in the new studio appeared in 2019 during the summer Holiday Club Seaside Rock. Since then Mark has produced a variety of different video's using a number of different characters, including some with puppets and gospel illusions. COVID 19 causing national Lockdown in March 2020 saw the studio transformed into a place where online assemblies could be filmed and sent out to schools, aswell as filming church service's and an online holiday club in the summer of 2020. Then during the second national Lockdown in January 2021 Mark embarked on a project to film a series of video's that could be used in RE lessons in schools. The series called Bible Time was piloted in one school and is currently being made ready for a new role out soon following some minor editing adjustments. Since it's being's back in 2017 the JFJ Video Project has produced a number of video's for children of primary school age. The aim is to now not only continue and build upon that work but to produce video's for older children and teens as well as adults. In January 2021 Mark started to record a basic message called Verse for the Day which is based on the daily Bible verse that appears each on on the website. Please continue to pray into this project for new inspirations, new outlets for the video's (such as a means to create an app for example), pray also for the children, teachers, parents and others who view them that God's word will speak to through what they hear and see.
